Guild Wars is pretty
I've been tinkering on the characters I made on sis's Guild Wars 2 account. Most of it has been exploring, which has resulted in some really pretty screenshots. I also just found out that the game is on sale until December 3rd, so maybe, hopefully, I might be able to afford it after the month's rent/bills are taken care of. $30 is a whole lot easier to manage than $50, and plus there's no subscription to worry about. And it really is a fun game, and great for just goofing around to kill time when I don't feel like playing any of my other games.

Oh yea....
I almost forgot to mention -
Jahira is finally caught up to her family. And! It was mostly on pet battles. Because I am so bored with questing right now, thinking about it makes me want to cry. I must have gotten at least 6 pets from baby-levels to 25 just leveling her from 87 1/2 to 90. (With a little bit of questing to break the monotony.)
She's spent a little time onLoot Timeless Isle, so she's got some gear upgrades, and I'm not failing quite as much boomkin'ing. Although I've been using her gear tokens while in her resto spec, so most of her gear is more for healing. It works well enough, though.
I'm kinda sorta trying to get her into an RP night, but so far I haven't had the energy, physically or mentally. I really want to do something with her before my game time runs out on that account, though, so I'm gonna try again tomorrow night. Wish me luck!
And now I should get to bed, so hopefully I can be actually awake for tomorrow night....

So this thing just happened in my head...
"…. Vette, what is this?"
"Well, you’re an official lord now. We all think it’s time you looked like one."
"There is nothing wrong with my old armor. And I don’t even want to know how many credits this cost."
"It’s fine, boss. Each of us chipped in, and the merchant even gave us a discount when he heard that it was for you."
"Like I said, my old armor is fine. I’ll look like a pretentious fool in this thing."
"You will not! You’ll look dashing and deadly and you don’t have a choice in the matter. So there."
"She’s got you there, m’lord. ‘Sides, dressin’ up a bit’ll make them moffs take you more seriously. An’ probably scare the **** outta your enemies."
"You’re in on this too, Pierce?"
"I regret to inform you that all of us are ‘in on it’, my lord. You have a higher status now, and, with all due respect, your appearance should reflect that."
"…Why do you always have to make so much damn sense, Quinn."
"Apologies, my lord."
"Jaesa?"
"Sorry, master, but I agree completely."
"….. Fine. But the first time that cape gets caught on something, I’m throwing it out."
"Ha! I’d like to see you try."

Still here
I haven't fallen off the planet (yet) or anything, just been so worn out from work and holiday stuff that I haven't had the energy or brain power to come up with anything interesting to post.
I haven't been on WoW much lately, and when I have it's been mostly just battle pet leveling. At least at this rate I'll have all the leveling achievements done eventually? I think I just got myself a little burned out on dailies/farming/LFR/dungeons/etc., and most of my friends, the main reason I was still logging in, have all been busy doing their own things. So I'm just taking a bit of a break for now.
I've still been getting my gaming fix, but it's been on Lord of the Rings Online mostly. The winter Yule Festival caught my attention, so I started running my characters through the quests there and collecting cosmetic/housing items, and in the process got a couple levels for a few of them. When the holiday was over, I just kept going. It's been a nice change, and there's been a lot of updating that I've missed, like the new version of Bree. Some of the classes have had some minor changes which have made them more fun to play as well, like my new guardian alt. I'm most likely going to be sticking with LotR for a while, with some WoW pet battling thrown in for the excuse to say hi to everyone there.
I'll be trying to come up with a better post soon, with some screenshots and everything, but for now it's bedtime. /Sleepywave

Have a short update
Quick update, since I am almost literally about to zonk out on my keyboard.
First, Windstar finally has a totally IC title-
I think the achievement and title should be going account-wide in Mists, so I'm skipping the Cenarian Circle rep grind on Kel. Because, ugh Silithus... >.<
And second, this took way, way too long, but Talia is finally out of Northrend.
Totally dinged on an archeology dig, because I was so very tired of Northrend questing. And then I took her to Vash'jir and got her seahorse, then got sick of the place (as usual) and went to Hyjal. The result- she's almost 81 already. And that was after I replaced her level 80 heirlooms. (She's still using the cloak, and only recently replaced the helm.)
And now I need to go pass out. I'm still rolling with Talia, so I will probably be trying to dungeon-run with her tomorrow before work. Unless my SWTOR free trial sucks me in first. /Waves

A few things I learned at Feathermeet
1. Seattle is pretty.
2. Apparently I need to get myself Rock Band and learn how to play. And maybe get over my shyness at singing out loud in front of people. (not likely)
3. Cards Against Humanity is the worst (and best) game ever.
4. The AFK Tavern is awesome.
5. West coast time zone still does not make me a morning person.
6. 5 days without WoW isn't that bad when I have enough distractions.
7. Flying is not as bad as I thought it would be.
8. Airports are confusing.
9. Being surrounded by friends is the best cure for depression ever.
And finally...
10. Feathermoon is full of some pretty danged amazing people. I <3 you guys.

Pebble!!!
There are many pebbles in Deepholm. But this one is mine. <3
Only about 2 years after Kel finished questing in here too. Pretty good example of both my ability to slack off, as well as how much the RNG sucks.
